Rainy day, kickin’ back in my cardigan. Need a new jacket, guess I gotta swipe my card again. Days like this I could sleep in for hours. Fantasize about a world where I have superpowers. Fly away to another place, or would that be a fallacy? I’m not meant for this one, my thoughts are out of this galaxy. Moving forward at last, can’t look back to the past. My life’s moving so fast I swear I have whiplash. I need an adventure but I gotta work to get cash. Gotta play the game of life like Sega, I Dreamcast. I mean I dream past the bullshit and the drama created. Not in love with the fast life, in fact I hate it. If my life is a movie, press pause on the VCR. If my life is a road trip I want out of this car. Just one moment, frozen, let it last. A second too fast my memories shatter like glass. The only escape I have is through these words.
